Summer 2026

Stay tuned! Summer 2026 registration expected to open the week of 1/19

We are working hard behind the scenes to plan for Summer 2026. We just need a couple more pieces to fall into place. We will announce via email to previous Darien Junior Sailing families (and those who've reached out directly) once we are ready to go. We will provide at least a few days before we begin publicizing more widely.

For planning purposes, please expect that our calendar will align very closely with last year (i.e., starting the Monday after last day of school for DPS: expect 2-week sessions starting 6/22, 7/6, 7/20, 8/3. not set in stone yet, but very likely).

Four x 2-Week Schedule Format & Multipack Discounts

Given the overwhelmingly positive feedback on our switch to 2-week sessions in 2025, Darien Junior Sailing is pleased to continue! This change was made due to the challenge of fitting 3-week blocks into busy summer schedules. This change is designed to provide families with greater flexibility, making it easier to enroll in multiple sessions.

To get the most out of the program, we strongly encourage sailors register for 2 or more sessions (4 weeks or more). In the past, sailors have averaged 3.5 weeks per summer, and we found that longer participation leads to the best outcomes.

To incentivize sailors to get the most out of the program we are implementing Multisession discounts. Details will be posted when registration opens.

Registration Notes: Please note that every sailor new to Darien Junior Sailing must complete a basic swim test on his/her first day (swim with life-jacket about 50 yards from shore to boat & then around the boat without life-jacket, then back to shore with life-jacket). Please reach out if any questions.

Standard registration questions must be answered for each sailor & session registration; if you are doing multiple registrations, keep answers handy to paste into subsequent registrations.

At the end, if the "Complete Registration" button is shaded out, please ensure you have selected the box with your payment option. Any other problems, please email DarienSailing@gmail.com.

Check the Resources tab for required gear and transportation support.
